Water Delivery Support Unit: It's for the Big One

You have all seen them in the magazines. They are the big monster pumpers. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, they all had them at one time or another. These beasts are designed to move large volumes of water at the BIG ONE. They have 2000 GPM pump capacities and larger and use multiple large supply lines to support them. They use big guns ranging in flows from 2000 to 4000 GPM and can supply several pumpers if need be from a distant water source.

If you are like me you have probably had dreams about having one of these guys on your department. But there is no way we can justify it’s expense when we only get the big one once a year or less.

Well have I got a deal for you. It’s called the Water Delivery Support Unit (W.D.S.) or whatever fancy name you decide to call it. What would you say if I told you it was possible to convert one of your existing pumpers into a big super pumper capable of 2500 GPM plus flows for a fraction of what it would cost to order one new from the factory? Come on, I will show you how it can be done.
