FireLink's Fundraisers for Firefighters

FireLink | Kendra Weikman, Associate Editor

Firefighter Calendar

You knew it had to be on here somewhere, so who not in the beginning? The success of the firefighter calendar for raising money for charity is undeniable.

Depending on a few different options, you can put a calendar together at a relatively low cost.

Do your research when it comes to a photographer. Amateur photographers charge less, but be sure to look at a portfolio before hiring. If you decide to hire a professional be sure to compare their rates with other photographers around town.

Will you have your calendars professionally printed and bound, or will you take the cheaper route and take it to Kinkos? Typically the more calendars you have printed; the less it will cost you per calendar.

Once the calendars are printed ask some volunteers to set up booths at the local mall and sell the calendars. Make sure to have a few of the “models” present to sign the calendars for their adoring fans.
