I am an instructor for the Fresno Training Institute Paramedic Program, I am posting to let all the california people out here debating on going to Paramedic school, that we are here and in around five months we will have a new paramedic class starting. Our staff of instructors includes one physician, an RN who used to be a paramedic and is currently an MICN, and myself, I am a Engineer Paramedic with a local department. Plus several other medics who serve as skill instructors. We have very high success rate over 90 percent pass the national registry. I spoke with the head administrator today and if we can get a group of people from the same employer or department we might  be able to work out a discount, that is still be debated but I am pushing for it. We have had a steady stream of southern california guys coming through, including five guys from the orange county fire. My last two interns should be hired in socal within the next three months, they are on several list already and in the background stage with a couple others. If anyone has any question please email me here. I hope no one is offended by me posting this here but it seems like there is a shortage of affordable paramedic programs out there and the waiting line for southern california programs is long.
