 If I remember correctly hydraulic ventilation will clear a room of 2250 cubic feet of smoke in between 15 to 20 seconds.  I can't remember where I read or heard it.

Here is the formula I always use at 3 am when the math isnt there...


One 1 3/4" line flowing at 100 PSI moving 250 gpm's open to a 35-45 degree fog pattern will move A SHoT LOAD OF SMOKE...
