I keep trying... but can't figure out where to go from here.... the local colleges here offer EMS and Fire science classes through the school. I apply for student loans... and they tell me they wont be availble until 30 days after the class starts. is there any other ways to go to school where you can get help from the beginning and not in the middle of the semester when you have already paid for the class anyway?

if you talk to the school and tell them that the loans are coming later sometimes they give u a break and let u take the classes and pay when the loans get there. you will just need proof that you were accepted for the loans. you should also go in and apply for scholarships there are a ton of firefighter scholarships for those who are going to school for fire sciences.
