I can't remember the maker or name, but it is an automated accountability system that digitally tracks all personnel, including 3 dimensional GPS locating within a structure, and communications/alarm system for PAR and MAYDAY.
There is nothing more important than accountability on a scene, and probably the most difficult and sometimes confusing task for command to keep up with, and honestly know without a doubt where personnel are.

If it's the system I'm thinking of , it's made by Motorola.

FACT SHEET
Motorola Fireground Communications System
How it works
Each Motorola XTS 5000™ radio with Fireground Communications System software “registers” with the system and sends its unique radio ID and accountability information to the Command Terminal on site. This enables the Incident Commander to identify and monitor sectors or working assignments of all on-scene personnel with “registered radios.”
Features
Fireground Communications System was designed with features to make the tasks of Incident Command easier and more efficient and to provide enhanced safety features for all emergency responders on scene. These include:
Sectoring function: Each Motorola XTS 5000™ radio can be programmed for a specific sector using the Channel Selector Switch positions; the XTS 5000™ automatically updates the Command Terminal with sector information.
Emergency alert: firefighter can initiate alarm that goes directly to Incident Commander, showing individual firefighter ID, channel and sector location.
Power down: Notifies the Incident Commander when a specific firefighter turns off the radio. A non-fireground sector is available to illustrate if a firefighter has switched to a non-fireground channel. In addition, a non-controlled sector can identify personnel with Fireground-capable radios who may be reporting to a different emergency incident in order to eliminate any confusion if there are several emergencies in close proximity.
Works at diverse incident scenes: System can be used at incidents where personal alert safety systems or self-contained breathing apparatus is not in use, such as at mass-casualty EMS incidents, brush or wildland fires, or floods.
Frequency Bands
VHF, UHF (380 MHz-470 MHz) and Motorola XTS 5000™ radios operating in the 800 MHz band. Motorola’s Fireground System operates on licensed spectrum, and is not susceptible to radio frequency interference.
System Components
Motorola XTS 5000™ portable radio, specialized Incident Management Software, Ruggedized Command Terminal or Mobile Data Terminal, Digital RF Modem and optional Portable Repeater.
Price/Availability
Release 1.0 is available now; contact local Motorola sales representative or call 1-800-367-2346 for ordering and pricing information. Fireground Communications System version 1.1 will be available later this year. If the system is ordered now, version 1.1 features can be added via radio programming.

* That's it.
** I hate to tell them that NO band spectrum, licensed or not, is ever guaranteed shielded from interference. (but they know that)
*** When Motorola says "Call for price", Ummmm, break out the vaseline, and they aint buying you dinner first. (to put it politely)
We have the 5000's, (the perty lime green ones) and they ran around $5500 each, with smart battery/charger and mic's.
Thanks Jess
