Posted about 1 month ago Bingo is a great money maker. But of course you have to spend money to make any. Also you may want to see if your state allows it. I know TN cut it out. When the state said no more on an average weekend the dept would take in $5 to 6000.oo.

Posted about 1 month ago There was a huge truck pull in my town this past weekend that sponsored local 4H. They raked in a mass of money. You may look in to that. They charged 10.00 a person and it was told to me today that there were 2,000 people that attended the event. Good luck, I hope you get some good answers!

Posted about 1 month ago A 50:50 raffle where people buy a whole bunch of tickets at some sort of an event (rodeo, basketball game, something with a great deal of people) and the fire department pulls out a ticket and announces the numbers. Whoever's number is called gets 50% of the pot. They did it in Plains and got $3000. However, do not be irresponsible like the Plains City Fire Department because they got drunk and decided to drive one of the wildland trucks back to the station and got pulled over. The cop didn't do anything (even though he should have) other than make them switch drivers. So be mature about it and don't have any of your firefighters participate in drinking if you're going to do the 50:50. Which I am sure you have enough common knowledge to be smarter than those idiots.
