Are your budgets being cut? Is staffing at fund raising events minimal at best? Tired of working a 12-hour fish fry to only see a small profit? Why not put a website to work for you with Gonink.com?

We have developed a system that allows you to put business/organization sponsorships directly on your site to raise money AND raise awareness about your department at the same time. No matter the size of your community, a fire station is a focal point for gatherings, help and social functions. Why not continue that tradition with a well designed and inexpensive website?

The Churubusco / Smith Twp. fire department raised nearly $400 within two weeks after contacting a mere 20 businesses. And it didn't take 12-hours of slaving over a fire or deep fryer. They simply sent out some emails and letters to a few asking to support their fund raising efforts and businesses were more than excited to help.

If you think this is something your department could benefit from, see our samples and pricing at fire.gonink.com today!

$400?  Our department got $3000 from Walmart for doing nothing but existing.

Our fish-fry's make about $12000 profit, and we are not a big community. I don't think begging for funds on your fire dept website will get it, nor does it look very professional. The businesses in the response area know you are there, and choose whether or not to support you. Usually they don't until they have a fire and see the need first hand.  Just my 2 cents, nothing personal. Good luck with it.

Congrats! That's great! We don't have a Walmart in our town. They're 15 miles away in either another city or county.

Wow, that's great as well! But our town and surrounding rural areas has about 3,000 people and I assure you we don't see every single one of them. Which leads me to believe you have

We're not "begging" for funds, we're simply asking if they want to support the fire prevention program they're more than welcome too. If not, no skin off of our back and we're still very happy to be part of their community.

I've heard others here say the advertising doesn't look "professional" and yet no one has given me a reason why they think that.

If its helping, Its not hurting. I went to the site and I thought it was very well done. Kinda like Cindi Crawfords mole,  Whos looking at the mole when there is so much more.  Just my 2 cents.
