Poll: Which is better, rural or city firefighting?

Posted about 1 month ago I am a rural firefighter and I like it because we have a small district and I know most everybody in it. I go to church with a lot of people whom I have visited on an emergency call. I like the quiet life and the slow days. |

| Posted 25 days ago The poll is a loaded question. The question needs to be redone and formulated. there are too many factors related to each and not to the other. I have worked in both as volunteer and career and there are pasrts of both I just love. But there are parts where of both I hate. and there are a BUNCH of parts of both that can not be brought up with this poll becuase of the chioces being given. |

| Posted 22 days ago I agree with Fireboss,, they are 2 differant worlds.. I am the chief of a Rural Dept, and work in a city with a full time paid dept that we run mutual aid to.. I see lots of differances,,,,.. and many similarities.. |
