Posted 3 months ago explain how you got the answer.) You have arrived at a fire hydrant on Main Street, you have removed the 2 1/2" cap and are preparing to flow the hydrant to determine its gallons per minute. As you examine the hydrant you find that the surface inside is squared off. After you open the hydrant completely you obtain a flow pressure on your pitot tube of 61 PSI. How many gallons per minute will this hydrant flow. You will need to research what formula to use to complete this calculation. Show your work in your post. |
