I've been involved in animal rescue for many years, and even I didn't know how horrible puppy mills are. This book is a real eye-opener. I can't imagine what it'd be like to respond to a fire at one of these places. My review of the book about Scarlett, the cat who savcd her kittens from a warehouse fire and was badly burned in the process, mentions a FF who rescued a dog that had been chained up in a crawlspace. Anyone who cares about animals will relate to this book, and want to help end this awful "business." I have photo albums for this book, as well as the one on Scarlett the cat.
