This is Drager's lower resolution camera, but it has a clearer picture than most high resolution cameras. It offers 6 color pallets that allows for the normal gray scale, a full color scale that is perfect for size up and a reverse gray scale that enhances outdoor search and rescue capabilies. It comes standard with a two year warranty and a lithium battery that includes a three year warranty that the battery will give you a full four hour run time on a full charge. It has an optional Thermoscan mode that allows you to set a temp so that anything above that temp will show up in yellow. The guesswork is removed in normal fire fighting operations as anything over than 500 degrees shows up in yellow, 800 in orange and 1000 in red. You don't have to guess if the room is going to flash soon. And, with all of that, it has a lower price tag than most cameras and you can drop in on the ground over and over, making it almost fire fighter proof. We are kind of tough on equipment after all. Awesome camera at a great price!!!
