| Description: | CLASSIC style hood is designed to provide double layer coverage of the neck, upper chest and to the top of the shoulder blades. Shoulders are contoured to reduce bunching of the bib. To ensure the hood stays tucked in, we've made the hood 3" longer in the front than NFPA requires. This hood features flat stitching and seamless chin area for better fit and comfort, 1/2" wide elastic face opening which stretches to a full 17" for easy donning and a snug fit around SCBA mask. Bottom edge is bound with self-fabric bias binding and all sewing is done with 100% Nomex thread. |

this is an awesome hood for you girls out there. i have use 3 or 4 different types of hoods and this is the only one that hasn't completely distroyed and knoted my hair to hell. plus it's very light and not very distracting when i'm wearing it. this is the only hood i'll use now.

I WOULD LIKE TRY ONE OF THESE. AT A RECENT OUTING I WENT TO THEIR WAS JUST A COUPLE OF DISTRIBUTORS I WAS AUTHORIZED TO PURCHASE SOME HOODS WHILE I WAS THERE YOU KNOW THEY HAD STUFF ON DISPLAY BUT WASN'T READY TO SELL ANYTHING. DISAPPOINTING ANYWAY THEY BOTH TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULDN'T SELL THESE HOODS TO ANY ONE BECUZ THEIR OPINION WAS THEY WERE JUST TOO GOOD...AND WAS AFRAID THAT IT WAS GOING TO CAUSE FFTRS TO BE HURT. I DUNNO STILL WANNA TRY ONE GUESS I WILL HAVE TO ORDER ONE

I like it when they are longer. I had one that didnt come down all the way to the chest. Those can be dangerous.

This hood is great, doesnt even feel like your wearing it. It dissipates heat very well but doesnt allow it back to you. I tried another hood and it was just way too hot, but with this hood it seems almost 30-40 degrees cooler.

Hood is thin yet warm in winter and cool in summer. So far has not stretched out around face like many others we have had.

best hood I've worn in years. It's cool in the summer, it gets hot here, 120 in the summer. Dosn't strech out of shape, and dosn't hold the sweaty smell.

I got 2 of these hoods and wouldnt trade them in for anyother hood, Amazing hood and extremely durable. Stays well formed to the face and head. Light and keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Awesome hood definitely a good buy..
