| Description: | Introducing the first-ever NFPA certified "EZ Flips"...only from Morning Pride. The Ben Franklin2 PLUS is the most durable composite helmet you can buy because the color molded throughout "FYR-Glass" Shell (including ridges) resists chipping, cracking and peeling far better than even Kevlar reinforced shells. The long term result is that the Ben2 is the most cost effective, lightweight composite traditional helmet. It offers comfortable fit, balanced feel, low head ride and light weight of "old" traditionals but with NFPA required performance levels. You simply can't beat Ben2's fit, comfort, performance, or price. This Ben2 now features new NFPA certified "EZ-Flips" that are visually and operationally indistinguishable. |

Great helmet! This is a comfortable helmet to wear for a prolonged period. It's lightweight and very well balanced. It rides a lot lower than a lot of other helmets do, and is easy to adjust. The "EZ Flips" are also a great alternative to a face shield. Definitely worth the money. This helmet will take a beating and still survive.

This is what our department is curently issueing. I feel that out of all the composite helmets I have worn this is the closest fit to that of the original leathers. You can get two helmets for the price of one if you by the Ben2 over a leather. Now that Morning pride has the NFPA aproved flips we can return to the old days and get rid of the unsightly goggles that adorne the helmets today.

Have been issued this helmet for a while now and it holds up to all kinds of abuse. Like falling off apparatus. oops, heat and impact. A lighter helmet is always a plus. Thank goodness for no more goggles, what a waste. Never understood goggles when 99 percent of time we are in SCBA. Great improvements with this helmet. We did have a firefighter get the beak that holds the the helmet badge caught in overhead netting. He suffered more from the joking later,

Helmet is awesome for the price. Morning Pride knows the market. I have worn Cairns and Bullards. Nothing compares to the way that a Ben-2 fits and feels.

Great helmet. Balanced weight, very comfortable to wear for prolong periods. The white version does discolor with exposure to heat.

This helmet is actually pretty balanced for a traditional style helmet. Pretty comfortable and good protection. But I use to work out west and had a First Due 1500 by phoenix Technologies. I know many people bag on this helmet because it just looks wierd, But let me tell you it is the lightest helmet made on the market it is the most comfrotable and can be worn for mulitiple discplines like wildland fires and rope rescue.

I was issued this helmet at work and was not sure how I was going to like it. So far it has been a great helmet. It holds up to a lot of abuse. I recommend it to anyone.
