This radio is very durable and has been around for some time. It is a little bulky but for the price and avalibility it is a good deal. The 5 watts of power is ideal in moderately hilly areas, has sveral options with it including pager capability, (Quick call 2). Use this radio in conjunction with a repeater system and you will not go wrong. The battery lasts a good 6-8 hrs with heavy use and all day with light use.

I use this radio at my other job as a tow truck driver and it is one of the best radios that we have used. By far. We have tried the rest now we stick with the best.......
