Well unfortunately this is a poor product I have owned 2 and I bought them about a year and half apart hoping that they fixed the problems. The bottom button to replace the mini mag bottom has failed with in the first month. It starts not working now and then the all of sudden not at all. I replaced it with the original bottom mag and it now works by twisting the top like the original way (which with the bottom you had to do both) it seem to be dim though but well I never really cared for the led’s any way the seemed dim and only good for short distances but this seems have a even shorter and bluer look. Well don't waist your mony get the one made by maglight.
