This currently the SCBA used by my FD. I do not particularly like this pack due to the facepiece fogs up rather quickly.

This pack is junk, it takes like three batteries, that it seem to eat, and the bottles always strip out.Oh, and the mask fogs up easily! And the mask-mounted voice amplifier doesn't work half the time, like I said junk!

These packs are junk. Our department had some and the regulators froze up on us and wala no air. Our name was supriseair. Only because we were suprised if we had air. Also heard there was a lawsuit on them and that's why Survivair is no longer.

My department currently uses these packs and have not had trouble with them in the 4 years that we have had them. I agree the mask does fog up quickley but the packs are great

Ours are five or six years old and they have done well. They are light and the sixty min. bottle gives us more air than any of the older 2216psig packs did. Have heard negative comments but the only one I can agree with is the fogging up. The batteries have not been a problem.

It is a great product. Very light weight. When speed it the thing, then this bottle is the best to have on your engine or squad.
