I think that this equipment is light weight and made very well. It comes from a small pennsylvania town that takes pride in what they do and it shows. We have had this gear at our county training center for several years now and it is holding up great to the high heat that stokers take well making the fires.

My old dept. has these in blue. They are very light, visible, and comfortable. I've torn the knees on mine, though, and they don't seem very durable. But they shed heat nicely.

I have two sets of there gear one in advance and one in PBI Matrix I have no real complaints except that the collar strap seems a little short for closure. I live 1 hour from the plant and have had the grand tour small company with big pride, very dedicated work force.
