| Description: | # The patented tunable diaphragm allows you to listen selectively to low or high frequencies without having to turn over the chestpiece. # For your comfort and control, the chestpiece is finger-contoured for a secure hold. For the patients comfort - a nonchill rim. # The eartubes are set at the proper anatomical angle so they don't need readjusting. # The patented Littmann Snap-tight Eartips remain secure, yet may be easily removed for cleaning or replacement. Soft-sealing Eartips also available. # A patented double-leaf binaural spring inside the tubing (unlike Sprague-Rappaport-type scopes), maintains proper headset tension. You may adjust the headset tension simply by flexing the yoke. # The single-lumen tubing makes the Littmann Select Stethoscope very portable and less bulky than many double tube stethoscopes. |

Littmann is definitally the best stethascope out there. My mother has been using it for years, and I've also gotten myself one and would never switch to something else.

This is so loud!! I love mine. The only thing is It is a bit tight and can push a lil hard in my ears. (I do have the soft tips in also) However I am happy as hell I bought it. I can hear well on mine. However while background noise IS eliminated. If your pt coughs or speaks it gets LOUD and it has actually hurt my ears. I will stick with Littmann forever tho!!

I have a Littmann of one style or another my entire career and I will not use anything else. High quality and durable, only problem is that if you don't keep track of it, somebody might walk away with it... Personal experiences!!!!

this stethoscope is one of the best pieces of equpment i have ever purchaced.now i wont part with it! went i went to emt school many yrs ago(23) to be exact they gave me a stethoscope. they dont do those things any more. as a capt i know i buy all my students steths and bp cuffs and when they pass they get jump bags and i fill them for them.anyway the stethoscope is much better the dual tube because in the back of the rig and moving all you here is is the tubes moving. the cheaper steths you cant hear the differnt lung sounds. this steth you can listen to baby lungs, adult lungs just by appying different pressure on the head and no tubes rubbing together. littmann is the best stethoscope manufacter that there is. i have own many in over the past 20 yrs. but nothing can compare to this litmann. i will not take a call without my litmann. they have really got something that other manufacturers could not figure out, those dual tubes, or if they do make it with one tube its real cheesey. i find myself only owning litmanns. as you can see i rate the litmann extremly high.

This Stethoscope is amazing, I have the Black special addition or as I call mine my "NInjaScope". I will never use anything else. The ear pieces are comfortable and keep all noise out for better listening. Deffinately worth the money spent.

Since I went to RN school after the Navy, I used a Littman. This model is the nicest one I have used. I can adjust the tension on the yoke and get great sound, even for a child. We all pretty
much use the Littman. It is cost effective, because it is one of the best. I highly recommend it for all EMT's and Paramedic's and RN''s- Flag as inappropriate

As a street medic for 13 years I have seen so many new medics coming onto the job bragging about their awsome new Littmann Stethascope and how great it was only to lose it on a call within a couple of weeks. Oh I agree they are awsome and the quality is undeniable both in the construction and ausciltation, however for street medics they aren't worth the money when I can use a $20 Sprague and hear the exact same thing in the back of a bouncing ambulance. So if your in a nice secured environment like a hospital then I would spend the money in a heart beat otherwise go cheap so when you lose it your not as upset.

I have a Littman Cardiology 3 "best on the market" and a $20 sprague. I couldn't tell you how many times I have been in the back of the ambulance using my littman and couldn't hear anything then use my sprague and can here just fine. I'll stick with the sprague.

This is the best one, I have one that stays on the medic unit all the time and everyone from all three divs always knows where it is and uses it. It has been placed on the switch list if we have to be placed in a reserve medic unit.

I really like this product. My mother turned me onto this product. I was issued another brand of stethascope that wasnt nearly as good. I am a combat Medic for the United Staes Army. I really find it important to have good tools.
