This tool allows you to control the rate of deflation and yet accomplish the task in a timely manner. Easy to use, quick, and convenient. Only draw back I have found is I have to remove my gloves to find it in my pocket to use. I think it needs a lanyard and then I could hook it on a clip on my rescue pack.

Wouldn't be bad if you wanted to take your time letting the air out and if you need to save the tire. A nice pick headed ax works a lot quicker.
