I am on my second of this type of helmet. The only reason this is my second is because of a promotion. I have had cairns befor but this is the approximate weight of the cairns 880 but the size of a 1010 and seems to be holding up better than any I have had in the past..

This is my second also. I went from a black to a white because I too was permoted. I really like the way it sits on my head. It sits down a little further so it dosen't seem like it is falling off. I purchased one for one of my Lieutenants. He asked what I recommended and I told him know he is wearing one.

great helmet, but yes a little on the heavy side. Our FF's have the Firedome PXB and they are lighter. But has done a great job of protecting my noodle.

I love this helmet, i got one about six months back(black) and just here in the last few days brought another ordered another one (red), they're awesome for the money

I just replaced one with a Paul Conway Classic. It was heavy and was missing parts. When I called customer service, they were rude. Never again.
