Great tool and I am sure it will save, and has saved many lives.

Excellent tool, but a little pricey for the smaller/underfunded departments. There are many grants out there that may assist the deparments in obtaining one of these, but there are many other necessities that might come first.

light and easy to use this product works and will no doubt be valueble in saving lives though as with all this type of kit cost is a problem for small volenteer companies but maybe the cost could be split between several depts

Greatest tool ever. First guy off the truck has it and we can pin point right where we need to go. Also we use it when looking for victums of MVA'S when they have been ejected, or have self extrocated and are hidding in the bush from law enforcement. many ways to use this tool

I used to use this on the subs in the navy. It is perhaps the greatest life saver of all time. We called it the Nifty device (or NFFTI) Naval Fire Fighting Thermal Imaging Device. I am quite proficient with it and would recommend it to every fire fighting station out there. You never know for certain if or when another fire is going to break out or start back up and with this handy tool you can pinpoint exactly where all those dangerous hot spots are. Safety as always is the most important issue of all when fighting fires and with one of these by your side you can be sure that you, your team, and hopefully anyone else unfortunate enough to be trapped in a fire will come out alive!
