This unique dressing manages open chest injuries or other injuries that compromise the pleural space of the chest cavity. First Responders can treat an open pneumothorax and/or re-inflate a collapsed lung without invasive procedures. Quick and easy to use, just peel the adhesive from the seal and apply seal to wound. Sterile.

An easy way to make a seal. Just peal and stick.

We have these. I haven't used one yet. Looks like it would work well.

Great for when youhave to leave a pt. alone for a bit to triage others. The only drawback is that the adhesive only works well if the area is clean and dry. I have yet to see a sucking chest wound that is clean or dry!;-) This minor drawback can be overcome, though, with 3" tape on 4 sides.

I have used these on sucking chest wound. I prefer the hyfen chest seal over this anyday.
