This a great tool for those that need a combo tool to cover till the big tools arrive and their relitivly cheap as far as tools go I've been quoted as low as $4000 for a used ( by the state instructor for classes, not in real life) and that's with the power source and 100ft. of hose. Anyone out their using these and have good or bad things to say about them?

I worker with this tool for 7 years and loved it. I liked the way it cut. It folds the edges as it cuts the posts. Limiting the sharp edges.

We have the Speedway cutter and the AMK 28 spreader, great tools at a great value. I also like that the fluid is non corrosive.

I like the narrow tip design, unlike the Amkus Jaws, you can generally create a purchase with the tips closed without the need of using the iron or other pry bar.
The side handles on the Amkus tools leave much to be desired. Granted, most of us do not keep hold of the side handle once the tools have started cutting, but some cases you need to. Had a brother on the Rescue get his hand pinned between the tool and the floor level door panel while making a cut on the lower section of a B-pillar on a job one night.

We have both an AMKUS system and a Diesel Powered Hurst (USAF)...I truly prefer the AMKUS due to weight and ease of operation and starting.

Just used them yesterday to cut someone out! Combo tools aren't the greatest but the cutters/spreaders are second to none
