This is one of the finest Firefighter tools ever invented! Great for finding heat, hot spots, victims, and identifying internal temperature of a structure. Light weight and easy to use! Vastly superior to the other cumbersome and bulky imaging cameras.

WHAT CAN I SAY BUT THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION EVER. IT IS ESPECIALLY GREAT TO FIND HOT SPOTS IN WALLS OR ATTICS. SO IT ALLOWS YOU TO SINGLE IN ON THE FIRE CAUSING MINIMAL WATER DAMAGE.

We have this system on two of our engines and they are great. The only problem is if your truck goes down for maintenance there goes your battery charger, unless you purchase a desk top one as well. Overall a great system.

Great camera. It is Light weight and can be clipped to your airpack strap with a retractable cord. The only thing I wish we got was the memory card and image software to download images from inside our fires.

This camera has so many different uses, I'm sure I don't even know of them all. It works great for initial size-up of a structure fire by showing you the general area where the fire could be located. It makes finding the fire in zero-visibility conditions much easier. It can find victims trapped in smoky rooms. It can sometimes help trace electrical problems, or find overheated HVAC units just by aiming it at a ceiling. Finding hot spots and residual heat during overhaul is a breeze. It can be used to find a missing person at night, or assist the police with finding a suspect hiding in a wooded area. You can use it around the station to prove who actually farted... The possibilities are endless!

Our company has one on our engine. it works great. It has helped us find many hidden fires along with a suspect in a MVA who fled the scene. We just used it last night at a chimney fire. without it we would never have known there was fire in the walls.
