Great for anyone who drives an engine, Dozer, or water tender. The pack is moderately comfortable but has a tendency to pull away from the body because of the weight of the new generation fire shelter. I've found that Incident Command likes the harness because they are able to be away from their heavy pack and still have the protection of the fire shelter. I personally enjoy having it when I'm away from the truck and have 200ft of booster hose off the tender. The Feds require that you have a shelter on you at all times while on a Federal Fire.
