I originally bought this light because I wanted a light that would not get caught up easily while doing interior searches. Also because I wore a helmet that had a shield on it and I didn't want to interfere with its operation. The light is streamline and tight to the helmet. I wear it at my career Department because it is so useful on EMS assignments. It is by far the best Headlamp you can by for the money.

Love it. I'm impressed with the light output it has, its been a huge help in structure fires and on vehicle accidents at night. Good on battery life too, had mine for almost 6 months and still going strong. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the fire service..AA++++

When working all night in the dark this is one of the best lights I have used. It lights up an area really well. While i'd like to see the price come down a little the saying goes "you get what you pay for".

I would highly recommend this light to anyone. I recently was in a fire doing some training and we let it roll over and get a little too close. It melted part of the light fixture on the case. The light wasn't working and I thought that it been because of getting too close to the fire, but when I examined it close I found out that it actually had quit because when I had changed out the batteries it hadn't sealed properly and some water had leaked inside and caused some corrosion. I changed the batteries and the light worked again. I sent Foxfury an email and they asked me to send the light in to fix the corrosion. When I got the light back it was almost brand new again, they had given a whole new fixture exept for the strap. The light was still under the 2-year warranty which all of their lights have. They gave me some excellent customer service!!! So not aonly can this light take the heat, but Foxfury backs their lights with some excellent customer service and this light is extremely bright and works well in smoke conditions, so I would highly recommend this light to every firefighter. This light is a must have for any firefighter. It's great at night too, so it would work really well for Wildland fires and USAR as well. This is a must have and with the two-year warranty and great customer service it's worth the every penny that it costs.

A FF in my department showed up to a tracffic collision with this light on, I was shocked at how bright and effective this light was, the only thing its was very bright in my eyes when I tired to talk to him. I think it would be ideal for trench rescue, structure fires, etc. great product!

I really like the idea that it won't hook on anything like side lights tend to do.

Bought 6 of the 10 LED light systems for industrial use. They are a little heavier than some helmet lights especially for a regular hard hat and a 12 hour shift. On a fire helmet you dont even notice the weight and they are excellent.
They do have a little more bounce back than traditional beam lights in heavy smoke.
