I highly recommend a pair of these for everyone. Wether you use them on accidents or in structural applications (Cutting chain fence, etc). They are a must have for anyone. Most of our crew has their own pair in their gear. I have found these cutters for as low as $3.50 (on sale) at the local Harbor Freight Tools Store.

Great product. Works very well when used to cut battery cables or really anything you need. Myself as well as one other guy on my crew use them, they are a good investment. Overall excellent product.

Ditto, I have these in my bunker pocket tools, except they are Kleins. Great tool. Excellent for cutting any wires one handed. A must have in your pocket tools.

Can't even begin to explain how important these are. Needless to say I would not want to respond to an MVC without them. We have also used them for cutting other cables. Although do not attempt to try to cut a residential or otherwise service line with them.

You absolutely must get your self a pair, they extremely versatile on both fire scenes and MVC's. They're cheap and easily fit in gear, they're totally worth it and can help you in predicaments.

These are great battery cable cutters. We use them pretty regularly on all car wrecks we work. The small design is great for getting into tight places. A definite requirement for all departments.

My husband uses these aruond the house all the time. Usually when he is trying to electricute himself. They seem to work great as long as he remembers to cut power beforehand. LMBO

This tool is basic tool for firefighters survival. It can cut a variety of gauge wire to remove yourself from entanglement. Example: romex wiring , flex a/c duct work. etc. I use a pair for fire investigation to remove wires and nails. This product is also similar to electrican cutters. I carry a pair of Greenlee pliars.
