The gear is very comfortable for extended periods. It has great dexterity. The Millenia XT outershell option has a five year shell warranty. That really helps for all the damage a firefighter can do to equipment. I use the pants without suspenders b/c of the belt option. All Bunker pants with the belt still come with the suspenders even though you might not need them. When you go to spec out gear, remember, most fabrics come from the same place. Southern Mills Fabrics is used by Globe, Mourning Pride, Fire-Dex, Etc.

Truly customizable features, a company that's easy to deal with, any time I've had problems with Globe gear it's been repaired (dirt cheap) or replaced ( little or no cost), I love using and having Globe gear. I'm particularly fond of the fact that they do not sell their gear through a mail order catalog like Galls or LSS, so you are sure of getting the right options and sizes from a vendor.

Very flexible, durable and down right comfortable! Just worked a mobile home factory fire where we were on the scene for 9.5 hours. Never once thought of shedding gear for comfort, even though we were soaked.

Like the weight and quality. We had a bit of trouble getting a good fit for the women in our dept. Good balance of cost and value.

I would say one of the best gear around. Very comfortable right out of the box and the thermal and moisture barrier are by far the best. The expandable back is one of the best features the coat will not bind up when you cross your arms.

WE just recently got our new gear in. I have had the chance to wear it about 3 times and each time for an extended period . It has been as comfortable as comfort goes in bunker gear. It looks stiff when you first get it, but it wears well.

Great Gear! As far as mobility is concerned there is no better. Optional padding in the knees makes crawling and such much easier and more comfotable. Outer shell has a square pattern that is easily repaired if torn.... there are too many great things to type...

this gear is comfortable. however after a few washes i noticed that many of the threads were haninng off. it has kept me well protected. i would recommend it just inspect it regularly as you should be doing anyway. many federal fire departments where this style gear.

I have a problem w/ getting it off when its wet in side . I sweat a lot in summer and It makes me mad I cant get it off. Make the arms a little larger .

I hope to be getting new turnouts soon and just got fitted and tried on a pair of these. Several other members of the department have them and really love them! I loved the belt option w/out suspenders when I tried them on and can't wait to get them!

I love this stuff. I went in to a burn trailer and the guys next to me with other company turnouts were say that is got hot but i has fine. it is the best. one thing that people might say is that it is a little baggy but you need that air to keep from getting burned.

i recently toured the manufactuing plant in Ada, Ok. we recently recieved a FEMA grant toward the purchace of the above gear. WITH the millenia outshell, dragon hyde knees, and scilizone knee pads, leather boots with composite sole and toe, 12 MSA air packs with all the options(voice amp, led bottle status, built in p.a.s.s.) with 24bottles was purchaced with said grant. after pricing and trying out Mourning Pride and Chief gear we decided to go with Globe. Mainly because the others only MET the standards, while Globe MET the standards and yet made the gear that much better. Globe sends a rep to your station to size everyone person on the dept. the others only sized 3-5 people. Yet our city manager refuses to sign the requsition to complete the purchase. be cause we didnt "take competitive bids". even after showing him the paper work FROM FEMA stating we do not have to take bids. all the custom fitted gear is sitting in the office not being able to use it. we are still using the old "ant eater" style air packs that our oldest captain trained on when he first got on 25 years ago. the gear is literally coming apart on my guys. im getting to the point where im about to start telling them they cant go on an interior attack. will post pictures of current gear.

Good gear. I agree with the other rating that it's a bit stiff at first, but after a little wear, it's really comfortable. I've been in a couple pretty hot ones in it, and been comfortable.
