| Description: | EP Industries, headed up by Eddie Paul (check out their website) released what the company deems the smallest, lightweight and most inexpensive CAFS system. This picture shows it mounted on a utility vehicle but they also have a handheld option. I thought this quote from Mr. Paul (on why he's patiently earning the trust of the fire and rescue industry) is pretty awesome: "The fire service is rich in tradition. No matter how good the technology is, acceptance takes time," says Eddie. "We’ve got a good product here so we plan to give it all the time necessary to become part of that tradition." |

This system has immense potential in wildland firefighting as well as big cities. Once you've got something both small and inexpensive (and uses less water) strapped to something incredibly mobile like a 4-wheeler or a person for that matter, your effectiveness is inherently increased. I'd like to see this implemented in a lot of ways.

Very useful for those hard to reach single tree fires. Our Mule does not have CAFS but is still quite effective.
