Worked in one of these "Beasts" and it was a great experience. It had the FL front and room enough to throw a party in the back!

As far as the Horton 623 it is an awesome truck with a bunch of gadgets and do hickeys, LOL, We currently run this truck with our ambulance service and use it as a critical care transport, The only problem with this vehicle is, is it does not get very good gas mileage

This is a great rig. we have two in our fleet as mobile icu trucks and palnning to add three more by the end of the year. plenty of rom front and back. ample storage not a bad top speed either. and as was said on another review mpg isnt the best but hey i will trade mpg's anytime for room

Horton bodies have out lasted all other ambulance bodies that I have worked with. I know a department right now, that still has a late 70's model Horton ambulance body in service, which it does get refurb every so many years.
