We have 2 of these. The Foot pedal does make it easy to adjust. I have never had to pull more than twice to start. So far so good.

We use these exclusively in Memphis for at least 20 years. They are on at least 28 ladder trucks, 3 Rescue, several engines, two ARFF vehicles. They really take a lot of abuse, in the compartment and on the fire scene. When they do not start it is usually operator error, not turning on the on switch or yes no gas. Once started they will run forever, but they do not restart well when hot so we do not shut one down till sure we are through with it .

Have two of these and don't really like the gas smell you get with them, i like using the electric ppv fans we have better (no smell) but the gas ones will move more air.

THIS VENT FAN IS ONE OF THE BEST THAT I HAVE EVER USED ITS EASY TO MOVE AROUND AND EASY TO LOAD AND UNLOAD FROM THE TRUCK. IT WILL NOT TAKE YOU LONG TO CLEAR TO SMOKE ON YOUR NEXT FIRE WITH THIS FAN AT THE FRONT DOOR
