I was part of the original test group when we decided to go to this boot in the late 80's and overall I have been a fan. My biggest gripe is that the inner linning comes apart and that makes it very difficult to get the boots off after the 3rd or 4th run of the day.

Curently demoing a pair for a local distributor, they are quite comfortable as with any leather boot they are slipprey when on ice or snow. The pair I have had to breakin a bit but now they are quite comfortable. I have a pair of there 10 inch zipper boots for use in the station and I absolutly love them.

It would take a lot to convince me to ever wear a boot by any one other than Thorogood. They're extremely comfortable and very durable. My Thorogoods have outlasted all of my friends Black Diamonds and Pro Warrington boots.

Good lightweight boot. comfort is oo but could be better. Had some problems with the heel but thorogood stands by there warranty.

These boots break down after a year. We have had many pairs and replaced them after a year and a half.

I really like mine! they wear like a regular boot not at all like structure boots.

This has been the best boot I have worn. It seems to hold up better and feels alot better on the feet.

These are fairly comfortable the only issue I find is that they are not cut for woman. They come up on my legs a little to far.

I Have ben in the fire service for four years the first three I spent many hours on my feet through tranning and all the diffrent drills that were put through as "Probys" (Nothing wrong with that though I lerned lots) the Boots I had were Old Rubber snuber jobs they heart my feet and I did not enjoy being in them Now I invested in the Thorogood boots All my problums were gone there like a sneker you can were into a fire With that said try them for yourself

very comfortable on those long calls allows more ease of movement and very durable
