This boot is fine for flat land..but in mountainous terrain is is useless and the steel toe is not favored by wildland firefighters..at all

I wear this boot for station use and love it. I can go any wear with them and not worry what I'm getting into. They are comfortable but heavy, that the only draw back to them.

Nowhere near the boot as LaCross Fire Tech. Not worth half the money and very uncomfortable. Way too heavy for station duty.
