Very nice bible. I got mine after my first call and that chaplin ordered one for me. Had it engraved with my name and radio number. This will be something that I will have forever and something that my future kids will love to look at.

Before I bought this Bible I had a worn and tattered NIV student Bible. I states things in a way I hadn't thought of yet. The stories and extras in the back really help me connect firefighting to my christian beliefs. Plus this Bible has been left in my turnout pockets, shuffeled around on the rescue and engines and left at the station, and it doesn't have a mark on it from that. It also kinda grabs other firefighters attention when they see a Bible for firefighters they realize that christianity isn't a whimpy thing and that even though they're supposed to be "macho" they can still have a relationship with Jesus

Something that A firefighter should carry with em all the time..

Why would anyone in the fire service be without this. I have read it about and the special prayers really help.

fits in bunkers and/or gear bag well. Needs a little water proofing so I put mine in a ziplock.

I got this as a gift for Christmas and love it! I highly recommend that you check it out, it is dedicated to firefighters and has some really great devotionals!

I received this as a gift from my Chief....I love it and use it frequently when i'm feeling blue, or down, or just need somewhere to turn to after a rough call at 3am.

A personal favorite

I am new to the fire field, and before that I wanted to be a priest. So I am picky with Bibles and always prefered the Catholic version, but this Bible is compack and is an awesome translation of the original texts. A must for every fire fighter.
I recommend this and the police one, to all in the Community.

I just bought this at a local book store. Awesome. I haven't read musch of it yet but I like special prayers in the back. It easy to go to and say quick pray before I get in the truck. Stay safe!!!!!!!!!

An awesome bible! Small enough to take most anywhere, with lots of information, devotions and inspiration from seasoned Chaplains that have served in response for years. A great book at twice the price! You can't believe that you would get a leather back bible with a special clasp that will keep it closed and safe in a inside pocket for near the price!

I love the extra devotional section that his bible has in it. My only beefs with it are...1) one one translation. I would like to have more than just the HCS, like NIV or KJV & 2) the color. While burgendy is lovely, Scarlet, Navy or Black are all choices i would have picked first.

This is a great devotional. i use mine all the time. we have a christan firefighters group in our county and this is were the get many of the devotions for it also.

This is a great bible ,my wife gave it to me for christmas .Every firefighter emt should at least look into this one if not buy one for themselves.As said before it shows that its still manly to believe.

I bought this bible a couple of years ago and I keep it in my truck and spend time in it when I'm on a break at work. It's a great bible and has a lot of great firefighting history and info in it as well. Every firefighter should have one of these to keep in their gearbag, or response vehicle, or in their nightstand at the station next to their bed. I wouldn't do without it!

I got this bible for my birthday from my sister and I love it it is a hard one to find in store here in maine every firefighter should have one .

Great Bible, serving as chaplain mine has been used for weddings and I carry it on duty for counseling as well as personal reflection. It is the perfect size for my duty bag.

Love this book!

this was given to me by my sonn and has great sinamental valve. the content can't have a valve puit on it due to the nature of the book. it' law to christians everywhere. the firefighter should have this in his bag for work, home hte car, or his coat. you can't go wrong by having this book, but you need to do more thatn jusat have it. you neded to read it and apply it to your heart head nad mind in everythjing that you think say or do.

I love this edition. I bought one for our office and all three chiefs share it. I like the size and the devotional sections are very appropriate for our profession.
