I would consider these boots since they are similar in appearance and construction from the ones I wear. Extremely comfortable, easy on and off and last a long time as long as you keep them up.

I have the A.T.A.C. Storms and they are a comfortable pair of boots. One thing that I see that could be improved is the durability of the toe. I have had my pair less than 2 months and the "Polish-able toe" is already worn to the point that it can't be polished. Other than that it is a great pair of boots.

I actually have the waterproof "shield" 5.11 with the compasite toe. These are by far the best pair of boots I have ever owned. You can trudge through the mud and snow, come back, spary they off with the hose, quick scrub and polish and they are like new again. Then outer side on both boots has nice small pocket for a boot knife as well.

Like many emergency responders, I spend a lot of time in my station boots. With almost ten years in the business I have to say I a very happy with the past six months performance from these boots.
I look for a boot that is waterproof and breathable, I prefer composite over steel for the elements, and I like the side zip vs. the front (they seem to hold up better). Anyway, overall these are very comfortable boots and they have held up well so far. I would reccomend these to anyone looking for a tough station boot that wants similar features. You can't beat the price!

I love these boots, they are comfortable, sturdy and great work boots. I bought two pairs and my father bought a pair as well to work at a livestock sale barn.
