A Unique Firefighter Proposal

SELDON, NY – What looked like a terrible accident was actually a proposal months in the making. Yes, a marriage proposal.
A Seldon, New York firefighter staged a mock-accident and had his buddies call in his girlfriend to help hold an IV bag.
The firefighter then got down on one knee and proposed.
She said “yes.” The couple is thinking October 2011 might be a good time to get married, with fire trucks in the procession, of course.

Neat! My husband proposed to me at work. His original plan was to drive up in a ladder truck and climb to the second story. Instead, he hid in the front office and suprised the "dickens" out of me. He handed me a dozen roses and got down on one knee. May the couple have many years of happy marriage together.

Great idea! Had a special plan for my wife when I proposed to her. My original plan involved a ladder truck to the window of the school but that plan was nixed by the brass. Plan B was put into place as I hid in the clinic while she apprached. She was very surprised and excited. And then they lived happily ever after....

Happy ending! I think the mock accident was a bit much, maybe during a drill or something in case someone thought it was real, but I am extremely happy for the brother and his new fiancee and wish them all the luck in the future. May their marriage be long and happy!!

I did the same thing 1 1/2 years ago except I proposed to my wife when my crew and I responded to a fire drill at the school where she teaches! This one was pretty cool too!
