Austin, Texas

“Keep Austin Weird” is a t-shirt slogan you are sure to see a lot of in this city, in large part because of the uniqueness of its residents and businesses. Locals and visitors alike gather along Austin’s 6th Street to visit the area’s best nightlife. The already strong music scene gets further expanded when the city hosts some of the most popular music festivals in the country, including South by Southwest, the Austin City Limits Music Festival, or the Urban Music Festival.

While in the region many also visit the Texas Hill Country, an area of rolling hills and bike paths outside of the city limits. Batron Springs, which supplies water to the Barton Springs Pool, is also a popular place to visit for those looking for a break from the Texas summer heat.
