San Antonio, TX

A visit to San Antonio very often starts at the River Walk, also referred to as the Paseo del Río. This walkway lines the path of the San Antonio River and is filled with shops, bars and restaurants. Take the family on a barge ride of the river to see all the attractions and history from you seat, or simply walk the path that will take you through the stone walls of the North Channel and the historic houses of the South Channel. The Alamo is also a must see, is just a short walk off the river.

San Antonio is also home to some of the best “Tex-Mex” cuisine around, with restaurants serving the style all over the city. Make a breakfast stop at the tasty Taco Haven, located just south of the Alamo, and enjoy the excellent food and family atmosphere. Rosario’s is also a popular destination for dinner, accessible via the city’s trolley.
