Hero Firefighter Dies Saving 3 Kids from Lake

Macon-Bibb County firefighter Michael Dewayne Jones drowned trying to save his two sons and a little girl from Lake Tobesofkee in Georgia, according to WMAZ in Macon.
Jones jumped in the lake after he noticed the little girl starting to drown. While saving the girl, his sons, Jarell, 7, and Joshua, 5, got in to the lake and began to drown. Jones jumped back in to save both of his sons, drowning in the process.
Jones was just starting his career as a firefighter, but his fire chief, Marvin Riggins, said that Jones had already made an impact on his team, according to WMAZ.
