May 1, 2011 marked a historic day for the United States when President Obama made an official statement announcing the death of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

In celebration of the incredible job our U.S. armed forces have displayed, as well as the swelling of American pride, we share with you this collection of photos collected in the last few days. Enjoy and God Bless America.
