STATEN ISLAND, NY – A shoeless Staten Island thug was busted Thursday after he punched his sister in the face and then socked a firefighter who came to her aid, police and fire sources said.
Anthony Valentine, 24, choked his sister and then clocked her “in the face with a closed fist” across from the firehouse for the FDNY’s Engine 157/Ladder 180 on Castleton Ave. on Staten Island, police sources said.
The girl’s mother ran to the firehouse for help. When firefighters crossed the street to cool down the hotheaded Valentine, he sucker-punched one firefighter in the face – and then darted off, minus his footwear, FDNY sources said.
The accused sister-beater was nabbed a short time later at a friend’s home nearby. He was hit with two assault raps and a harassment charge, police sources said.
