About Me
First I would like to thank God for all his blessing on my life and for the great Wife and son that he has given to me. They are what makes me want to be a better man.I have always wanted to be a Firefighter. My mother told me that since I could talk that is what I have said. So I am living the dream. I love to help people that are in need of help. I started after high school in 1989 as a volunteer with Horry County Kates Bay Station 16. I moved up in the ranks of that station to Capt. In 1992 I was Firefighter of the year of that station. In 1997 I went to work for Horry County as a Firefighter.In 1998 I was career Firefighter of the year for Horry County. In 2000 I left the County and moved to Conway Fire where I am a Sergeant. I am the officer at our station 3 which has our ladder company. I come to work everyday to do the best that I can. I am over our Dive team, the boat, and the SCBA’s. I love what I do. I could not see me doing anything but this.
