About Me
I'm a very busy single dad. I spend my days either working with the Fire department or spending time my daughter. Being a very involved father is why I chose to be a career Firefighter. I just got hired on yet another Department here in Western Colorado. It is a Reserve position so that I can get paid and recieve more training and a third pension. That will make three Departments. My full time Job is with a Fire Department that is Combination Career/Volunteer staff running EMS and Fire/Rescue. Our shift is a 48/96 and everyone loves it. Seems like all the departments around here are going to the same shift. I also Volunteer with another Fire Department that is all Volunteer except for the Chief and Chief Paramedic. I've been Volunteering for 3 years now and hope to put in my 20. Lets face it my life more or less revolves around my daughter and the fire service. I don't know if I'd want it any other way. Certifications: EMT Basic, IV, Structure Firefighter II, Hazmat Ops, Wildland Firefighter II, Sawyer Class A, ICS- 100, 200, 300, 700,
