Personal

About Me
I have been in the fire service for about 14 years. I started in a small rural dept in Mercer County, PA. Moved to Monroeville, PA for college and lived in a firehouse (oh, what a joy!) for 3 years. Got tired of big living so I moved back home until I got married acouple years later. While living in the sticks, I worked as a part time firefighter in the City of Farrell, PA. At the same time I held the position of Asst Chief of my small vollie dept. After I got married i was hired as a Career firefighter with the Wilkinsburg, PA FD. Spent 3 years there until layoffs forced me to move into the dipatch field, I had been doing that off and on for several years... Took a couple years off from firefighting and joined my local VFD in 2006. You can check out my fd at our website : www.phvfd227.org... I also have a beautiful wife, Maureen, who is also my best friend. Together we have 2 boys, who are smart, crazy, inventive, non stop, friendly and very handsome. My oldest, Joey, is 6 and in the 1st grade. The youngest is Nicholas and he's 3 but if you ask him he's bigger than Joey! I love those 2 and can't imagine life w/o them!!
Hobbies:
Hunting, Cooking, Playing with my kids and wife. Remodeling my house (which sounds like fun but really isn't)
