Hey Chris, just stopping by to say hello, sort of been away from this site for a while. Anyhow, how are things up north? I was just up in NY visiting with my parents a couple of weeks ago, got back to VA in time to see the girls head back to school. Im guessing your pup is probably, or may not look so much like a pup any more? How's she doing? Take care, hope all is well!

Yeah, seems like I recall something in the news or on tv about that. Always strange when a child goes missing.. as i barely let my girls out my sight!! Good Ole" Marley wont let anyone near the house, thank god he's good at that, specially how the nice lady next door let her drug addict son move back in with her.. and he is scared to death of Marley...as I keep telling him how mean he can be, and how he likes to bite if people get too close to him...lol but we live in a fairly nice neighborhood so can't complain, just be a little cautious as anything can happen anywhere...just never know.

yeah, its been quiet here as well, allthough the local PD has been busy with a couple of homicides and a couple of suicides. One in particular where the stupid a** (wow, the computer/site flagged my word as inappropriate>>) father going thru divorce took the lives of his two 3yr old daugters...totally senseless. That one sort of hit hard, especially for those of us who have children. Something I will never totally understand. Leave the children out of it..
Anyhow, relatively weird weather we are experiencing. And I am sure its all over the place. Sort of expecting the bears to come out of hibernation. We have flowers blooming already. What to expect with 70 degree temps.
Just trying to wrap up the basketball season with the girls, they have had some good games, some really bad games but it has been fun. The first year they have participated in sports with their school.
And lastly, Marley has been, well, relatively good. Any chance he has to snag some food laying around - he is right there.. he is a trip though. Cant wait till it really warms up to get him out and run him like a dog. How's Hannan doing? getting over the adjustment period yet, or still getting into trouble? Talk to you soon.

Wow, 8 inches? That would put us in a State of Emergency down here...lol I am just thankful for the few days of 70 degree weather we've been having. I sure don't miss scraping the snow and ice of the cars.. Have a great weekend and keep in touch! Oh, hows the pup like the snow?

Yup.. cold is fine for me.. got a new ( to me ) snowmobile I'm itching to try out..
the only firewood I need to get ready for is camp...and thats no hurry...

she's doing good.. She likes to wander off if your not paying close attention, but its still a new home for her. She has learned to LEAP from the dock to fetch a stick or frisbee ! very fun to watch...

she does well in the crate now.. And this weekend she learned to leap from the dock and float at camp to get in the water.. Before she just ran in from shore.. I had to go to camp to add an anchor to the float and tie off the dock for Irene...
