do you guys still have the combo nozzle that you open the fron end of it and stick a long pole in it to reach the flow over a fire team or do you have regular TFT or Elkhart fire Nozzles now? see if an old senior chief you know might in supply might know how to get into an auction for federal property that is obsolete?

can you find out where i might be able to get my hands on an OBA? i would like to put 1 on display. Do you still use the 4 ft spray nozzle that we used to use for cooling fire teams or cooling a bulkhead?

we had a flood in our mogas pump room one time and the chief had to wear an scba from the base fire dept cause the oba cannister had a flame in it to make o2 and that and mogas would not of been to good, he had to pass the tank thru the scuttle holes first and then follow, i was taken out un- conscious cause my airline mask failed and i took in to much vapor. A site glass gauge had failed and the shut off valve broke so we filled the pumproom with 1000 gals of high octane. I like the new msa that we have on my dept. big diff from the oba for sure, take care and have fun being a shorty, do not let them talk you into re-upping, out side is way more fun. see ya.

when i was in the nav we did not have the scott air packs that you guys have, or the nomex coats. we wore long sleeves and a breathing thing called an OBA that used a breathing cannister that chemically produced o2 mounted on our chest. you have it easy now.

keep your head up, you are such a short timer that you could drown in a mud puddle when it rains if you do not keep looking up.
