thank you! I am in school with females that think their looks make their path. I know its a desire and passion for your job and people that make the difference. Though looks may help so you dont scare your customer, how you are comes from within!

You should work on everything. The only thing that will make you look like a fool is not taking the job seriously. I know guys that had to repeat some courses. the main thing is dont think that being a female you cant do this or do that. I hworked with three females that were all FF1 and 2 certified as well as a haz mat responder. one was small frame one was a tall and skinny frame and the third was a small med frame person, So it more you knoe what your good at and bad at.

hello! I hope every one has a safe weekend! I am wondering if i could get some advice. As a "chick" what are the areas that a female should work on the most to be successful in the field? what are the most common things that hold a female back from being able to do her job???
I am training for the CPAT and FF1 & 2 right now, but would like to have a "heads up" so I dont look like a complete fool! :)
