    Hello everyone!

    My name is David Perlaza, I am from Mesa, AZ by way of New Jersey. I happily married to wife Jenny and a proud parent of my daughter Ahnalie. We are also expecting another bundle of joy come October is this year. I have decided to make a career change to better myself and my family. I am looking for something rewarding, challenging, and satisfying. I can’t think of a career that exemplifies these attributes more than becoming a firefighter. I am very excited about this change, I know it will be hard but I am very determined to reaching my goal of join and fire academy. I have enrolled into school and will be taking my EMT class in the fall. I plan on doing as much reading and volunteering as possible until then. Please let me know if you have any advice or tips that may help me along my journey. Thank you in advance for everyone’s help and support.
