About Me
Well here is the scoop. My father was a fire fighter in Sommerville , New Jersey for many years when I was very young about 8 years old. I remember going to the fire house with him alot and just wanting to help and play with all of the equipment. I don't think he ever had a clue that I would be just like him. I am a fifth generation fire fighter. My life is busy with all the fire/rescue/EMS that I am involved in. I have been on the Fire dept. since 1999 and the ambulance as an EMT since 2003. I enjoy the jobs I do. I am married to the most wonderfull and understanding man. He knows that when that pager goes off I am gone. Many times just like all of you, I will come home late after a long hard call. He is always helping me with the kids and stands beside me in times of need. I have a son , who I think will be the next fire fighter and my daughter is showing interest in the ambulance. I hope they will be next. There is no job more rewarding than these.
